The Pinakothek der Moderne brings together four museums under one roof spanning more than 13,000 square meters of exhibition space and dedicated to art, graphic arts, architecture, and design.

Current exhibitions:
“Klarenbeek & Dros: Design of the Unusual” demonstrates how the Dutch design duo combines living organisms, social design, and modern technology. Their work encompasses furniture, glass objects, and projects created for public spaces.
“CONVIVIUM – Nahrungssysteme am Limit” (Food Systems Under Pressure) presents vivid examples in twelve chapters of how our food is produced and distributed today. From “The Salmon and the Tomato” to “The Strawberry and the Greenhouse.”
“Between & Beyond – Der erweiterte Bildraum. Works from the Collection Since 1960.” (The Expanded Pictorial Space), brings together the work of more than 20 artists, including Dan Flavin, Klára Hosnedlová, Roman Ondak, and Lucio Fontana, who challenge and redefine the concept of pictorial space through their art. As a result, the exhibition space itself becomes an integral part of the artwork.
