Annegret Bleisteiner – The Wall

One of the most striking features of Das KloHäuschen (yes, it means Public Toilet) at the western entrance to Munich’s wholesale market in Sendling is its glass-block privacy wall. But now it’s gone, buried beneath colorful plastic objects by Munich artist Annegret Bleisteiner. The work always remains visible from the outside. During the Long Night of Munich Museums, visitors will also be able to experience “The Wall” from the inside together with Annegret, whose studio is located right next to the wholesale market.

Open longer in good weather.

A colourful installation made of numerous toys, everyday objects and small items densely covers one wall of a white-tiled room.
