“What Moves Us” is the guiding theme of the Deutsches Museum Travel Center, and it is especially fitting for the Long Night of Munich Museums. Whether on rollers, tires, wheels, or runners, visitors will be able to explore the full diversity of land transportation in the three listed historic exhibition halls at Theresienhöhe, either on their own or as part of a guided tour. Those eager to get moving themselves, or be moved by something else, can try out the “crazy bikes” in the courtyard, experience the shaking ride of a carriage simulator, or glide into the future aboard the “SupraGlider.” Equally moving in a very different way are the photographs by Martin Roemers featured in the special exhibition “Homo Mobilis.” These large-format images portray people from around the world with their vehicles and captivate viewers through their expressive power and rich detail. Visitors will also be able to meet young innovators and their extremely fast vehicle: students from TUfast will present their latest race car and be available to answer questions about both the vehicle and the project behind it.

Several bicycles are displayed in a bright exhibition hall in front of a large photograph of a blue truck with two people.
