When Edith Piaf meets beatbox, we're dealing with Francophonix: an extraordinary chanson and swing band from Munich! The six musicians from France, Italy and Germany tap their joie de vivre to celebrate French and international classics from Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Patricia Kaas, Vaya con Dios to Django Reinhardt and Vanessa Paradis. Guitars, accordion, clarinet, flute, double bass and percussion accompany the singer Anna in her native French with temperament. And a pinch of hip-hop beatbox adds that little bit extra. No wonder they have been booked for the big stage at Euro 2024 in the Olympic Park!
