Evening program at this museum
- 18:00–22:30 Live Music with Toni Bartl: "Don't dump anything"
- 18:00–01:00 Exhibitions, Program to Participate, Information
"Don’t throw anything away, you’ll never know when it might come in handy again!" Toni Bartl learned this from his Uncle Erwin, who filled his workshop with all kinds of odds and ends. Using creativity and craftsmanship, the inventor and musician transforms these discarded materials into one-of-a-kind musical instruments. With lively music and plenty of humor, he will be performing at the Recycle Bar until around 10:30 pm. Complementing the exhibition “Jetzt geht’s rund” (Round and Round We Go) visitors can enjoy a varied program focused on the circular economy and sustainability, including upcycling ideas and an information booth hosted by AWM, Munich’s waste management company. There will also be plenty to discover in the special exhibition “Molassic Park,” the future lab “Natur gestaltet” (Nature Designs) and the permanent exhibition. Experience the earthquake simulator, meet the exhibition curators, examine minerals at the stand of Münchener Mineralienfreunde, Munich’s mineral enthusiasts’ association, spin the wheel of fortune, or crack open a geode to reveal hidden crystals. After all that activity, visitors will be able to relax and recharge with refreshments at the Recycle Bar in Café Limulus.
From here, visitors will have an opportunity to take LINE NORD 95 on an excursion to northern Munich, stopping first at the MTU-Museum and continuing on to the BMW Museum and SEA LIFE.
