Evening program at this museum
- 18:00–01:00 Exhibition with Short Guided Tours, an open Workshop, Poetry Slam, and a Bollywood Party
The Museum Fünf Kontinente (Five Continents) on Maximilianstraße opens a window onto the cultural diversity of our world and is once again inviting visitors to an inspiring night filled with encounters and exchanges. Discover the special exhibition dedicated to the popular Hindu deity Krishna, as well as brief, guided tours of the museum’s exhibitions in both German and English. Visitors can experience the quiet elegance of Japanese floral art through works from Japan’s two largest Ikebana schools or learn about a traditional Indian textile printing technique in an open block-printing workshop led by artist Anvita Jain, complete with a handmade souvenir to take home.
An MFK poetry slam in the newly redesigned disKursraum, a Bollywood party in the foyer, and Indian specialties served in the museum café will turn the Long Night at Museum Fünf Kontinente into a celebration for all the senses.
