MTU Museum

The MTU Museum, the corporate museum of MTU Aero Engines, is home to a world-renowned collection of exhibits. Spread across nearly 850 square meters, more than 50 exhibits provide a comprehensive overview of the history of powered flight. On display are historic aircraft engines from the earliest days of aviation, including unique examples found nowhere else in the world, as well as complete modern engines and propulsion components. The museum also showcases innovative propulsion technologies for the aviation industry of tomorrow. Dominating the museum entrance is one of the exhibition’s star attractions: the gigantic GP7000 engine, which powers the Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft.
