St. Anna im Lehel – Franziskussaal

Composer Messiaen approaches spring by musically “sketching” the robin. For him, birds are the greatest musicians of creation. With his audio version, he attests to their song a closeness to Debussy and the Impressionists. Between the livelier robin movements, pianist Angela Grau will perform various emotionally romantic nocturnes by Chopin, all of which will invite listeners to completely lose themselves in the music.
