Münchner Stadtentwässerung (City Sewage System)
In Schwabing-Freimann (meeting point after confirmed registration)

6 – 9 pm (every 30 min.):
Beneath Munich’s streets lies a sewer network stretching more than 2,400 kilometers. Visitors are invited to descend into a section of this hidden world and gain a rare glimpse into the city’s otherwise unseen underground infrastructure. Sturdy, closed-toe footwear is required for the tour. In the event of heavy rain, the tour unfortunately cannot take place. Please note that access is through a historic entrance and is therefore not barrier-free (lasts approx. 30 min., limited number of participants, registration required).

An underground brick sewer chamber with arches, stairs and narrow passages is illuminated by warm yellow light, with water flowing through a side channel.
