6 pm: On this guided tour, visitors will encounter both famous and lesser-known women whose lives are closely intertwined with Munich’s history, past and present. Look forward to meeting colorful characters, noblewomen, witty and humorous women, artists and folk singers, businesswomen and nuns, saints and even a few wanna-be saints (lasts 60 min., registration required at info@mgv-muenchen.de).

6 pm: An Overview of Munich’s Museum Landscape. This guided tour will take a closer look at Munich’s Kunstareal, the renowned museum district stretching between Königsplatz and Theresienstraße. Visitors will explore its history, from the vision of King Ludwig I to its present-day design, its architecture ranging from Leo von Klenze to Stephan Braunfels, and the highlights of its collections, from the Munich Obelisk to works by Andy Warhol (lasts 60 min., registration required at info@mgv-muenchen.de).
