Evening program at this museum

  • 18:00–01:00 Evening Program with Exhibitions, Guided Tours, Demonstrations, Sciece Shows and Art Performances

Don’t just look! Touch. Experiment. Participate. Understand. For 101 years, visitors to Munich’s Museum Island have been able to experience technology and natural science in the truest sense of the word. Whether through guided tours or self-guided exploration, the museum’s 20 permanent exhibitions offer numerous interactive stations that can be touched and tinkered with, all during an evening stroll. Hands-on enthusiasts can join workshops in the Experimentation Workshop, while the Science Shows in the auditorium and demonstrations in the chemistry lecture hall regularly leave audiences amazed. Throughout the evening, artistic performances will add unexpected experiences and bring new life to this world-famous temple of technology. For those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, the Aviation Hall Lounge will offer cold drinks from the bar. A particular highlight is the view from the museum tower, which, especially after dark, provides a breathtaking panoramic vista that never fails to elicit expressions of wonder from visitors.
