Self-Presentation in Motion Pictures: Historic Corporate Films.
The line between advertising and objective information is a fine one. Ever since motion pictures were invented, companies have used film as a medium for self-presentation. The BWA, Bavarian Business Archive, will be presenting a continuous screening of fascinating historical glimpses into the working worlds of Rodenstock (1956), Pfanni (1969), and Dywidag (around 1991). In addition, guided tours of the archive stacks will be offered continuously from 6 pm to midnight.
