Sound Art & Archeology

The Bavarian State Archeological Collection will feature works by Iannis Xenakis, Andy Akiho, and Javier Álvarez – compositions that impress with their rhythmic precision, auditory depth, and physical presence. With exceptional virtuosity, Förschl will showcase percussion in all its sonic facets.

Hourly performances from 7 pm to midnight.

Pop-up tours of the museum will be available hourly from 7:30 pm.

A Visit with the Romans

2 – 5 pm: How did people live here in Bavaria 2,000 years ago? What did their clothes look like? You can explore these and many other questions. In a workshop, you can craft brooches (fibulae) based on Roman models. If you like, you can try on Roman-style clothing and take a comfortable seat on a “kline.” (For children aged 6 to 12, limited participation on site).

In cooperation with the Museumspädagogischen Zentrum (Museum Education Center MPZ)
