This year, night owls are once again invited to discover the Jewish Museum Munich during the Long Night: The exhibition “Bildgeschichten. Portraits of Munich Jews” shows well-known and forgotten Munich faces and asks: Who had their portrait taken by whom? How did they want to be seen? Who did they want to portray? If you would like to find out more about the Jewish history and culture of the city of Munich, you will find fascinating information in the permanent exhibition. Guides will provide short introductions giving expert insights into the exhibits. The trio “Folkadu” will provide the musical backdrop with Jewish folk music from around the world. The Coucou Food Market will invite you to linger a while in the museum foyer and on the terrace.
