Königsplatz 3, 80333 München
Art · Culture
The Glyptothek is Munich’s oldest museum. It was opened in 1830. Behind the freshly renovated temple facade, lies hidden one of the most beautiful and most famous collections of Greek and Roman sculpture – with the Barberini Faun and the “Aeginetes” as special highlights.
The walkable large-scale sculpture “Raum O” by Hildegard Rasthofer and Christian Neumaier in the inner courtyard offers visitors and exciting opportunity to view themselves and experience spaces.
The Café in the Glyptothek will be open.
