FC Bayern Museum
c/o Allianz Arena, Werner-Heisenberg-Allee 25, 80939 München
The Star of the South shines particularly bright in the red of the Allianz Arena – behind the well-known facades, at the heart of the stadium, which is where the history of Germany’s record champions is at home: the FC Bayern Museum merges emotion, fascination, and tradition.
Under the spell of the myth that goes out from FC Bayern, more than 400,000 guests from around the world come here. The outing to Fröttmaning is worth it, for here a journey through time back to the founding of FC Bayern in 1900 and then up to the latest heart-pounding Bundesliga final awaits its visitors – the trophies on the “Via Triumphalis” let the museum sparkle.
A highlight is the current special exhibition „Wembley 10 Years on – a Treble for the Ages", which brings the record year of 2013 back to life again with lovingly selected objects on display, an exclusive film and one-of-a-kind photo-cubes. The famous „Mia san mia“ (We are us!) cry becomes tangible, even tactile, as is also a peek onto the holy grass of the Allianz Arena, which will be included during the Long Night.
