Experiences with Stars!
In planetarium demonstrations under the vast dome in the entry hall, visitors can travel to stars, discover galaxies, and immerse themselves in our universe – no matter if the Long Night is cloudy or not. And experience everything to do with “100 years of Planetarium” in the current special exhibit. A galactic delight in sound will be waiting in the aviation hall (Luftfahrthalle): there you can hear a huge transportable organ that merges tradition with state-of-the-art technology, brought to life during numerous brief concerts by keyboard virtuoso Paolo Oreni. Further highlights will include tours of the exhibits, workshops in our experimental workshop, exciting science shows in the auditorium and spectacular demonstrations in the chemistry lecture hall. And for a bit of relaxation throughout it all, you can enjoy a small glass of something at the Rooftop-Bar on the roof terrace next to the “Woman in the Moon.” Perhaps the real stars might even come out to sparkle high up over the Isar…
