This informative brochure invites all music enthusiasts to explore the multifaceted history of pop music in Munich. Discover a total of 43 significant and exemplary locations across four exciting tours that reflect the development and influence of pop music within the city.
Learn detailed background information about the creation of the Thematic History Trail, accompanied by music from Kokonelle, and enjoy a musical stroll along a selection of stops.
Program:
8:00 – 8:45 pm: Presentation of the Thematic History Trail by author Rita Argauer and Michael Ott, Head of Department 1 of the Cultural Affairs Office, with musical accompaniment by Kokonelle
9:00 – 10:00 pm: Guided musical walk with Tanja Mottl (Department of Culture, Pop Music Division) along several stops.
