TourpartsGeorgenstraße
Big Band Night at the KHG
8 pm: The Knocking Braces (Cafeteria)
Electrifying, energetic, groovy and at times sentimental – The Knocking Braces play the finest from swing, Latin and funk.
9 pm: Goethe Street Quartet (Saal)
The four contemporary jazz musicians have found each other again. They will be filling the early evening hours with an explosive mix of Bob Reynolds, Joshua Redman, and John Scofield.
10 pm: Minoer Street Project (Cafeteria)
Latin American rhythms, funk, and jazz-rock: and happily, it also comes in somewhat unusual versions and even as their own compositions. The main thing is it grooves!
11 pm: Catchatune + Cantaloupe (Saal)
Jazz choir and big band have come together to present a very special program filled with jazz standards à la Nat King Cole, then on to fusion classics from Weather Report and finally to chart hits from Camila Cabello and Toto.
12 am: Cantaloupe - Munich International Jazz Orchestra (Saal)
Tighter grooves, blaring horns, wild solos, hefty sounds, high-energy music – that is the world of the almost 20-person big band Cantaloupe. Dancing and singing along to jazz standards in disco swing dress, funk classics in a big band style and pop hymns is expressly desired!
Ending at approx. 1.30 am.
