Deutsches Theater München

The Deutsches Theater Munich and the DOK.fest Munich will be presenting in the Great Theatersaal the music documentary VON VIELEN, about a band overcoming the pandemic. Afterward, there will be a discussion of the film and a live performance. There will also be concerts in the Silbersaal.

Soprano Julia Chalfin and pianist Maharani Chakrabarti willbe performing their personal favorites from the Golden Age of Hollywood under the title “I Got Rhythm.” Georg Kleesattel (vocals) and Martin Stellmacher (piano) will be playing snippets from their program “Beers & Ballads.” They will also be interpreting global hits from such artists and bands as Peter Gabriel, Meat Loaf, the Eagles or Whitesnake in their own inimitable way. From midnight until the end, there will then be a party with the famous Munich acoustic rockers Los Sopranos.

GROSSER SAAL (GREAT HALL):

8.30 – 10 pm: Documentary film “Rainer von Vielen: Eine Musikband in der Pandemie.” Afterwards, film discussion and concert with the Rainer von Vielen Duos.

Admission: 8 pm, no admission possible after film begins.

SILBERSAAL (SILVER HALL):
