World premiere as part of DOK.fest. Mud, power outages, floods – and yet WACKEN happens every year. Founders Thomas Jensen and Holger Hübner are undeterred. W:O:A stands for passion and family, becomes legendary with Kreator, Doro, and Motörhead, and serves as a home for fans worldwide.
Followed by a Q&A with the team and founders, plus a live concert featuring stars of the WACKEN family.

For the Long Night, the Silver Hall will become a stage for powerful voices and deep emotions. Aleyna will captivate you with emotive pop and an intense presence, while George JR will blend German indie with groovy soul. To close out the evening, singer Anais and guitarist Dani – known from the R&B Nights at Salon Pitzelberger – will perform top R&B and soul covers.
