Body_Prayer – a prayer in dance

Dance performance by Stefan Maria Marb with the dancers of the Butohatelier accompanied by live music from Jost-H. Hecker (cello), Peter Gerhartz (keyboard) and Sebastian Segl (vocals). The performance Body_Prayer speaks of the spiritual dimension of prayer in people and shows its multi-layered expression in butoh dance: “In different body postures, we articulate a deep existential longing and at the same time open ourselves up to an open, undefined space of desires.” The choreography will encompass the entire space of the church, with the well-known actor Gerd Lohmeyer also performing.
