Night of the Apocalypse
Wilfried Hiller's “Apokalypse” (premiere 2024, text: Stefan Ark Nitsche) for vocal ensemble with countertenor, soprano, violin, clarinet, harp, celesta, piano and percussion with Japanese Odaiko is framed by apocalyptic compositions (Messiaen, Helmschrott, Grill and others) and improvisations featuring Armin Becker on the organ and renowned trombonist Mathias Götz. An audiovisual synthesis of the arts in front of the heavenly Jerusalem of the altar mosaic.
