Max Geller Quintett

The Deutsches Theater is where this Swiss and, by choice, now Munich-based musician will be presenting an energetic mix of post-modern jazz, pop, and beguilingly smooth ballads. He will be welcoming a guest too: New York singer and songwriter Angela Grey. Geller and Grey will be accompanied by Julian Schmidt (piano), Xaver Hellmeier (drums) and Thomas Stabenow (bass). Jazz fans should by no means miss this quintet’s gig in the Silbersaal (Silver Hall) of the Deutsches Theater.

DIATONIkS

The dream of justice, compassion and coming together in humor and happiness to ward off despair, illusions, and self-deception – “De Zeit, de ma jetz ham” – crazy, rapid-fire, absurd. Ott Göttler, Landy Landinger and Alfons Hefter bring it all to the stage. Something to cry about, laugh about, dance about. Deep social issues will mix it up with funky tunes, folk music & polka, blues, reggae, and waltz.
